A humblebrag and some free writing advice

While writing a short story I spelled "prestidigitation" correctly on the first try. That doesn't make me a real writer. What makes me a real writer is that it put me in a good mood all morning!

One of my articles just came out online. Check out the latest issue of Funds for Writers and read my Mediocre Photographer’s Guide to Professional Photography.

  1. Some smart tips. Never thought about doing photography. And I thought the Ethiopian castle shot was great.

  3. Went to Hope's to read the article (I get her newsletter, too). Very well written. I notice more and more people are wanting to offer or sell their photographs now. Photography is a constant pleasure for me, and I never tire of seeing how others frame the world. Thanks for all those tips, Sean!

  4. I'm less surprised that you could spell prestidigitation correctly (I have faith in you!), than that you're using it in a story. Hmm...

  6. Absolutely! I would definitely need to rely on spellcheck or some googling for that one!
